Objectives of DISC training for managers

  • The DISC model offers a simple yet powerful framework for understanding human behavior. By discovering the four main DISC profiles – Dominant, Influential, Steady , and Compliant – each person becomes aware of their own relationship style, needs, communication methods, and potential areas of tension.

    Taking a step back allows you to better understand the reactions of others, to anticipate misunderstandings, and to adapt your speech to strengthen listening, clarity and the effectiveness of exchanges.

    By making differences visible, the DISC method becomes a real lever for kind and effective communication within the team.

  • Understanding DISC behavioral profiles allows managers to move away from a one-size-fits-all approach and adopt a more flexible, equitable, and effective style. By identifying the needs, motivators, and stressors of each profile, it becomes possible to adjust tone, pace, messaging, and communication style to maximize engagement and impact.

  • The DISC model helps defuse tensions by identifying the emotional triggers specific to each personality type. Through a better understanding of stress reactions and individual needs, managers can adapt their approach and find the right angle to manage disagreements, provide constructive feedback without creating conflict, and restore trust more quickly.

  • Each DISC profile is sensitive to different motivators: autonomy, recognition, security, precision, challenge, etc. By identifying these and integrating them into daily management, the manager becomes a true motivator. DISC training content for managers:

✔️ They will complete their DISC behavior profile & Driving Forces online beforehand

✔️Feeding back and debriefing personal reports individually and/or in groups

✔️ Practical application with interactive workshops and role-playing games : throughout the training, fun activities based on reflection, application and practical application of the DISC method will be addressed, according to the objectives predefined with the company prior to the training.
